A short story to correct ourselves and make us responsible.

Once upon a time, a king ruled a country. He regretted that his countrymen used to blame the king for whatever he did. He was wise and wanted to teach his people a good lesson and correct them.

He had a boulder placed in the middle of the shopping street where people were walking. It was a stone that one could lift if one man tried. Many people who came that way crossed the stone lying in the middle of the road.

Some people say what's wrong with this? There is such a big stone in the middle of the road, why not take it and put it somewhere else? Even this responsibility does not belong to the government? How can the country progress if this is the case? They muttered and walked aside.

A week passed like this and the king thought that all the people living in that city must have passed through that boulder. He told all his countrymen even in the shop street where everyone gathered there eager to know what was going on.

The king ordered one of his servants to “pick up that stone lying in the middle of the road and put it aside”. As the king said, he lifted the boulder and set it aside. When he lifted the weights, it was a shock to all the people because there was a big box under it.

On the top of the box was written a prize of one thousand gold coins for those who take this stone and put it aside. Everyone there was sad thinking that they had lost a thousand gold coins.

The king said that the people of the country are free to blame the government or blame others but you, the people of the country, have no responsibility. The people of that country went on to say that we will not blame the government or others, but we will also behave actively and responsibly.

Better to correct ourselves than to blame others.

Is learning challenging? Or is it a challenge to teach?

Learning is difficult for some and may be interesting for some. Still, teaching is always difficult because he has to simply teach what he has learned so that many people can understand it and it will definitely be a challenge.

A short story shows how challenging teaching can be. Once upon a time, there lived a great scholar and students came from many places to learn from him. The only question he asks such students is "Have you already studied with a teacher? Or not?" That is.

If they say no, this is my first time in education, he will ask him to pay the full fee. At the same time, if a student says that I have already learned from another teacher, he will charge you double.

For many, it was a confusing event. It was a topic of discussion among students and staff alike. Someone who worked with him asked him out of curiosity today that somehow he wanted to talk to him about this "Scholar you are teaching so many people that you are charging full tuition from a new student but a student who is already learning has already learned so you can charge him less or at least full fee but you are double Why are you buying?" he asked.

The scholar smiled and started explaining. A student who is new to education will accept what I say as I teach him once, so I charge him the full fee. An already educated student will have learned at least a little from another teacher.

Now when I teach him new I have to teach him more than what he has already learned and what another teacher has said is a different variable so I need more care for him. Only then will he fully understand what I am teaching, leaving what he has learned from an already-learned teacher?

He said that I need to explain more to understand, so I am charging double the fee to an already educated student. In fact, getting the students to understand what they have learned is more of a challenge than a challenge.

No one can buy truth and happiness.

A man who lives in excitement wanders without knowing what happiness is. Whether a person thinks that money is happiness, or possessions are happiness, if he thinks about whether that is happiness, he may doubt himself. If we think about whether happiness can be bought at a price, our imagination and thoughts will go as far as they can go. A short story to understand happiness.

A poor man lived in a town. He had a little land and the money he could get from farming and the money he could get from daily wage work was his economy. He was living his life on a meagre income, but he, his wife and his children were doing well in the fields, living in poverty and dancing and singing for joy.

Opposite their house lived a rich man who had a cruel heart. He is always solitary, quiet, with a stern face and does not smile or talk to anyone. He heard a poor man opposite the house dancing and singing happily with his family and was always angry with them.

When they are working in the fields, they sing to keep away from fatigue, and when they come home, the children are happily singing and dancing. He thought that the dance and singing of these penniless people was a happy celebration. He thought that we should somehow disrupt their happiness and keep everyone sad.

One day the rich man went to the poor farmer's house with some money in his hand. Seeing him you and your family are starving, I have come to relieve your suffering. He gave him two bundles of money asking him to take this money. Seeing this, the farmer was very happy and thought that this was an opportunity to alleviate our poverty.

Yes! He asked why you are giving me so much money?. The rich man said that you can keep all this money but only on one condition. You must give me a promise that under no circumstances will you or anyone in your family sing or make any noise. The rich man said that if you accept only this one condition, you can have all this money.

From extreme poverty and hardship, the farmer told the rich man that from now on we will not sing and we will not make any noise and took the money. The family itself has become a form of sadness, there is money but no happiness, poverty is gone but laughter is also gone.

For two days the family remained silent with a stern face and the children were sad that they could not sing and could not be happy.

Only their last son suddenly forgot himself and started singing. As soon as he sang it was too late and everyone started singing along with him. Once again the family was filled with happiness and the angry neighbor heard the singing and came to the farmer's house in anger.

The farmer gave the two bundles of money to the rich man saying "We will not sell our happiness for anyone". No one can buy truth and happiness.

What is our way of understanding the world?

Everyone in the world thinks only about himself and no one here has time to think about others. A person who can understand a problem from the perspective of the next person can understand great achievements but very few people can understand it from the position of the second person.

It is a natural human thought to think that most people think only about themselves and that there are others like them and the situation of others.

Let us take a short story as an example. That time afternoon, when the sun was burning, a man was sleeping under a tree, the sun was beating down on him, but he was sleeping soundly.

A man who came to cut firewood saw him sleeping and thought that ‘he must be a hard worker and that he was sleeping well even in this heat because of the fatigue of his work’.

Next, a thief came that way and he thought that ‘he was sleeping like this even at this noon as if he had been awake and thieving all night’.

Thirdly, a drunkard came that way. He had drunk so much in the morning that he was sleeping without even realizing that he was in the sun.

Fourthly, a monk came and said that ‘he must be a completely renunciate monk who else can sleep without feeling the heat of the sun and because he is a monk he is in a deep mind thinking state and he is learning the trick of sleeping without even being affected by the sun’. He bowed and left.

When every man sees another, he is like himself, like him there is this world, and to think that his life is the world is the life of a narrow-minded normal man. Understanding the situation of others is the only way to understand the world.

We work in a place and meet many people whether it is hiring a company or being a basic employee. Whether we are a boss or a worker, many people listen to us and work, but understanding their mindset will make our business progress.

Even if we work as a basic employee, we can progress to that level only when we understand the mindset of the one who has the administrative responsibility. If we were thinking about ourselves, we would have to be struggling as we are.

When times and situations change, everything will change by itself.

Once upon a time, the king of a country accompanied his minister on a tour of the country. On the way, a farmer was ploughing the land with a plough when suddenly a snake came near his feet.

Shocked to see this, the king shouted, farmer, there is a deadly snake near you, run away. But he looked back as if nothing had happened and without any fear caught the snake with his hand and threw it away.

Amazed the king and the farmer asked how you fearlessly caught and threw away the deadly rattlesnake, and if it had bitten you it would have been a danger to your life.

The farmer said, "I have faced so many great dangers while ploughing this land, and compared to all that, this danger does not seem big to me." What greater danger is here than a deadly snake biting you, asked the king.

He said, O king, if I don't work hard on this land, my family will starve and my life will be surrounded by poverty. Only if I work day and night without worrying about anything, my family can live on three meals which is why I work hard here. He laughed and said that I cannot live if I am afraid of snakes.

The king, who was pleased to see this, said to the minister, "Donate fertile lands to this farmer and remove his poverty." A lot of land was gifted to this farmer, as the king had said. After some years the king and the minister came again in the same way and they had a wish to meet the farmer and know how he is now.

The farmer, too, was sitting under a tree, and when he saw the king and the minister, he immediately ran and bowed down. Seeing that he had a big bandage on his hand, the king asked what happened to your hand and why he was wearing it.

Sir, a thorn has scratched my hand and it has become a big sore. The doctor bandaged the wound and told me to rest for a week without going to any work. Amazed king and minister, that day he was not afraid of the deadly snake but today he rests for a week with bandages because the small thorn has torn his arm.

The king asked, what caused this farmer to make such a big change? The minister said, O king, he was so poor that day that even a snake was familiar to him. Today he has become wealthy so even if a small thorn pricks him he treats himself like a snake bitten. The minister said that everything will change by itself when times and situations change.

Something we can never get back in our lives.

Once upon a time, there lived a hermit in a forest in a village. The monk was spending all his time in meditation and penance.

It is a very difficult thing to become a disciple of that hermit because the hermit does not want to accept anyone as his disciple so easily, and accepts those who come to him as disciples after passing various tests.

On learning about that saint, a man wanted to join him as a disciple and immediately went to his place to see him.

Approaching the monk, he said I want to join you as a disciple. The ascetic quietly asked why you wanted to join me as a disciple?, and he said, "I came with the desire to learn many mystical tricks from you." Immediately the monk sent him away saying that I do not want to accept such a person as a disciple.

That disciple also came the next day and asked again, Sir, accept me as your disciple, why have you come now? The monk again asked, Sir, I want to learn something from you that you teach. The monk also said that you should be my disciple. He was his disciple for many years but did not learn much.

The patient disciple also said goodbye to his master and left saying that he wanted to learn another art. After almost five years, the disciple again came to the place.

Seeing his disciple the monk inquired after five years what have you been learning? The disciple said with great enthusiasm that I have been learning the trick of walking on water.

Hearing this, the monk laughed merrily! You have wasted five years of your life, why should we try for five years to walk on water, just come with me and see what I have done in these five years! He took him to the nearby river bank.

A beautiful bridge was built there, and the disciple was surprised! Who built this beautiful bridge here? He asked. That monk said it was built by me, and during these five years in my free time, I would come and sit on this river bank and then if I had to cross this river bank I thought it would be good to have a bridge.

So I finished building this bridge bit by bit in my spare time. He said this is a beautiful bridge I got during my spare time in five years. Time in our life should never be wasted. We must spend our time on the right path for the right purpose.

The truth is that what does not come is time and time.

This is a simple story to explain what is the correct qualification to give advice.

All the people came and sat in a row to a monk and told their problems and got the solution. Then a man came and sat with the sage and he said that he had no major problem but his son was always very keen on eating sweets and if he told him not to eat sweets excessively he would not change it.

There is a fear that this will affect his health, he eats sweets first thing in the morning when I bring him here, and could you give him suitable advice and instructions to change his habit of eating sweets every day? He asked the monk.

Come and bring your son after a week with a smile on the silent monk! He said that I would give advice and he thanked the saint and left.

After a week he took his son and came to the monk and the monk said to the boy if you eat sweets every morning, you will definitely have health issues.

Also, your future will be affected, your education will be affected if your health is affected, your life will be affected, and then create some other good habits to change! He advised me to eat this apple and henceforth make a habit of eating apples every day so that I can change the habit of eating sweets in the morning.

The boy accepted his advice and took the apple. Then the boy's father asked, sir! Why did you ask me to come after a week when you could have done this the day after I arrived?

The monk smiled and said, Brother! He said, "I also have a habit of eating sweets every morning, so I cannot advise this boy then." That is why I gave this boy advice after giving up the habit of eating sweets every morning for a week,” said the monk.

It is not right to give advice to others that we cannot actually follow, so we should give advice to others on what we can follow otherwise it is better not to give any advice to others.

This is the story of a rich man who is understood by a saint to be happy in life.

A rich man was quietly living his life. Living the same life every day he was at one point lamenting how much money he had, I couldn't be happy.

To know that he lived a happy life, he packed a bundle of money and jewels and started travelling on a horse with the bundle. He went to many cities, saw many places, conversed with different kinds of people, and conversed with sages and philosophers.

Even though he wanders all over the city, he does not know that this is a happy life. While staying at a monastery during his travels, he met a monk and told the monk in detail about the problem that he was not pleased with.

The monk asked for all the information about him and then asked what was in this bundle. The rich man said, "I have a bundle of money and jewels. I will take these for my expenses and travel." The monk asked, "Why are you so rich and unhappy?" Yes, sir, no matter how much wealth I have, there is no happiness in my life, I have told you about my problems that you will find a way for that, said the rich man.

The ascetic, who had been silent, suddenly picked up his money bag and ran away. The rich man, who did not know what to do, ran to chase away the monk, and the monk ran a long way without getting caught in the hands of the rich man and came back to where they were sitting and talking.

He gave it to the rich man who was running and said to keep your bundle. There was so much happiness on his face; the rich man was overjoyed that he got my money.

The monk looked at him who was very happy and asked, "This bundle of money was with you and you still have it, but why are you happy now?" The silent one looked at the saint as if he understood something. Yes, happiness is only with you, when it is gone, you feel it. The saint said that it is not happiness to have everything; it is happiness to have nothing.

To whom we show true love, we receive love in return.

In ancient times, people mostly used ox carts and horse carts to travel. And only the rich people will have these carts. But common people do not have any carriages and their journey is mostly on foot.

At that time there was a very rich man living in a town who was planning to buy a good horse for travelling. He heard that a horse market was going on in the neighbouring town and went there and saw the most expensive horse and bought it. He gave it the food it wanted, hired a servant to take care of the horse, and spent money to take care of the horse beyond what it needed.

But he could not mount that horse and ride it. The reason is that if he goes near a horse, it will move away from him and if he thinks he can sit on it, it will push him away. Try as he might, he could not mount the horse and ride it. The angry man thought that he could sell the horse to someone else.

Just then the rich man's friend who was very fond of horses came to his house. He told him that he could not ride on this horse. To which his friend said, No matter how many times you try, you will never be able to ride this horse because we can only exercise authority over those whom we love. From now on, feed the horse every day, give the horse water, and spend some time with the horse.

Then he said, "Look, the horse will behave according to what you say." This rich man spends time with the horse without any grudge for what he said. He fed the horse daily with his own hands. But he could not mount a horse and ride.

After a few months, he became good friends with the horse and then he thought that one day he could ride on the horse and the horse kindly let him ride.

To whom we show true love, we receive love in return.

The journey is far but the time we live is short.

Take a few minutes to read this and it could change your life in minutes!

Only when we realize that what is happening in the present is true will our future be useful!

This little story can make a big difference in your mind!

A young man made several ventures and lost in them, so he wandered around looking for another job, but he could not find any suitable job.

Desperate, he went to see a sage one day and believed that if he told him about his problems, he would get some right path and approached him, sir! No matter what business I do, I get lost, no matter what I try, I don't get any job, I feel pain thinking about my past, and I am afraid of what will happen in the future, please guide me properly.

Sage who heard this quietly, don't be afraid, brother, can you perform an incident that happened yesterday? Can this year bring back the happy show of last year? Can your life suddenly change tomorrow or can you change something that is going to happen tomorrow to today? Can you show today what will happen next year? Yesterday and tomorrow are non-existent, and it is wrong to be anxious and afraid of something that does not exist.

Today you are talking to me, only this day and this minute are real. He sent him saying that think and act only about what we are doing in the present and your life will surely have a good way. He was walking on the right path thinking what he could do now.
