What is our way of understanding the world?

Everyone in the world thinks only about himself and no one here has time to think about others. A person who can understand a problem from the perspective of the next person can understand great achievements but very few people can understand it from the position of the second person.

It is a natural human thought to think that most people think only about themselves and that there are others like them and the situation of others.

Let us take a short story as an example. That time afternoon, when the sun was burning, a man was sleeping under a tree, the sun was beating down on him, but he was sleeping soundly.

A man who came to cut firewood saw him sleeping and thought that ‘he must be a hard worker and that he was sleeping well even in this heat because of the fatigue of his work’.

Next, a thief came that way and he thought that ‘he was sleeping like this even at this noon as if he had been awake and thieving all night’.

Thirdly, a drunkard came that way. He had drunk so much in the morning that he was sleeping without even realizing that he was in the sun.

Fourthly, a monk came and said that ‘he must be a completely renunciate monk who else can sleep without feeling the heat of the sun and because he is a monk he is in a deep mind thinking state and he is learning the trick of sleeping without even being affected by the sun’. He bowed and left.

When every man sees another, he is like himself, like him there is this world, and to think that his life is the world is the life of a narrow-minded normal man. Understanding the situation of others is the only way to understand the world.

We work in a place and meet many people whether it is hiring a company or being a basic employee. Whether we are a boss or a worker, many people listen to us and work, but understanding their mindset will make our business progress.

Even if we work as a basic employee, we can progress to that level only when we understand the mindset of the one who has the administrative responsibility. If we were thinking about ourselves, we would have to be struggling as we are.
